The Pitt Recap: A Moment to Process
Briefly

It's only 9 o'clock, and you're already bumming me out, Dr. Langdon tells charge nurse Dana after she tries to remind him of the concept of empathy after being callous about a situation with a patient.
I'm still a little bit in awe that this show can pull off enough emotion to tug at the heartstrings with so much chaos to contend with.
When you have a patient come in with a nail to the heart, the situation is both hilarious and harrowing, but the patient is barely a blip on your radar by the end.
One of those long-term patients is, of course, 18-year-old college student Nick Bradley, who overdosed on fentanyl, and the storyline becomes more heartbreaking with the revelation that he is brain-dead.
