Jo Jo Dullard was last seen at just 21 years old, having gone out with friends but ultimately disappearing after missing her last bus home, an event that has haunted her family.
Following a fresh appeal for information, a suspect was arrested, who had been identified as one of the last people to interact with Jo Jo on the night she disappeared.
The case upgraded to a murder inquiry four years ago has seen renewed activity, with gardaí searching residences as they delve into the circumstances surrounding Jo Jo’s disappearance.
Retired detective sergeant Alan Bailey, who worked on Operation Trace, reflects that the limitation of time can complicate seeking justice for Jo Jo Dullard and the other women linked to this case.
