Suzuki teams up with Toyota on its first EV: the E Vitara
Briefly

Suzuki's new E Vitara is its first electric SUV, set for production in India and launching in Europe, India, and Japan around summer 2024.
The E Vitara will be equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries available in 49 kWh or 60 kWh capacities, with a maximum range of 400km on a single charge.
Toyota and Suzuki have been cautious in their EV rollout, with both companies focusing more on hybrids while monitoring market demand for electric vehicles.
Despite its compact size, the E Vitara’s motor output of 135 kW is underwhelming compared to competitors like the Chevy Bolt.
