After 18 months in Saudi Arabia, Gerrard seeks a challenge closer to home as he ventures into Football League management for the first time. Carlisle, struggling at the bottom of League Two, are looking to shake things up after parting ways with Mike Williamson. The club has already made several signings in an effort to secure their status in the Football League this season.
