Status Yellow fog warning issued for entire country as Met Eireann warns of localised flooding due to snow melt

Foggy conditions could lead to impaired visibility, while gradual snow melt could lead to some localised flooding as temperatures creep upwards after a week of challenging cold.
Taoiseach Simon Harris also commended the 'incredible work' of all agencies involved in responding to the severe weather over the last week.
Keith Leonard, national director of the National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management, said cross-government supports will be coordinated for those in parts of the country still experiencing difficulties.
'The vast majority of people affected by power or water outages have now had their supply restored,' a spokesperson said.
