The death toll from devastating floods in the eastern Spanish region of Valencia has risen to 155, with authorities launching a nationwide three-day mourning period.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez emphasized the urgent need for residents to stay home, stating, 'Right now the most important thing is to save as many lives as possible.'
Emergency services, supported by over 1,200 troops, were actively searching for survivors amid the aftermath, with a year's worth of rain recorded in just eight hours.
