Drake's legal filings allege that UMG participated in a scheme using bots and covert payments to artificially inflate the success of "Not Like Us," claiming defamation due to their failure to prevent its release. UMG dismissed these allegations as offensive and untrue.
Snoop Dogg, asked about Drake's feud with Lamar, laughed before suggesting that in the West, "we hold court in the streets." He reflected on his own involvement by stating that Lamar is entitled to express his perspective and that he had no prior knowledge of reposting related audio.
In discussing the feud, Snoop emphasized, "[Lamar is] a rapper, he's supposed to speak his mind and tell his truth. I'm his big homeboy, so I have to take what's said from his perspective because he's speaking truth."
