A serious motorcycle crash has closed the Dartford Crossing, resulting in severe delays on both sides of the M25 from Dartford to Darenth Interchange.
Kent Police confirmed that an air ambulance is at the scene of the collision, which occurred around 2.23 pm, impacting the traffic significantly.
The National Highways indicated that severe delays are expected throughout the evening due to ongoing recovery efforts and closures.
As of 4.11 pm, the northbound lanes have reopened; however, the southbound lanes remain closed, complicating the congestion situation.
