A Dublin criminal now living in Meath is the chief suspect for torching vehicles or arranging an arson attack at a busy public car park off Main Street. Gardaí consider the man a serious criminal involved in drug dealing and organised crime and believe the attack was retaliatory over an unrelated issue. The blaze occurred at about 10:50pm on Friday and caused criminal damage; no injuries were reported. The scene was preserved for technical examination.
