"For conditions to be sufficient, there has to be some level of trust that the defendant will follow them, and the defendant here has demonstrated either he cannot or he will not follow rules," prosecutor Christy Slavik told Subramanian. "The defendant, sitting here today, has shown a complete disregard for the rules of the facility trying to rehabilitate him. That's a clear risk to the community if he were to be released."
"We have proposed a residence that is fully secured and staffed. Mr. Combs would be subject to restriction to that residence and could not leave the premises, save for emergencies or medical situations," stated lead attorney Marc Agnifilo. "We believe this is a balanced approach that would allow for his release without compromising the integrity of the case or the safety of the community."
