Every night this weekend (thu/fri/sat) we will be having a Communal Cathartic Scream at the club at midnight. We will stop the music, count off, and scream together. Screaming into the void is better when you do it with friends.
Screaming can be a way of releasing difficult emotions, creating a sense of community (if you do it with others) and helping people tap into their inner strength, according to the BBC.
However, experts warn that scream therapies like this one should be paired with psychotherapy and other scientifically proven methods of regulating your emotions.
If you were planning to attend one of the screaming sessions this weekend, you might as well go on a night that resonates: tonight (Thursday), the venue is hosting a 'pop princess' night playing hits by your favorite divas.
