Scottie Scheffler undergoes surgery after Christmas dinner mishap
Briefly

Scottie Scheffler has withdrawn from the PGA Tour's 2025 season-opening tournament, The Sentry, after sustaining a puncture wound to his right hand from broken glass.
On Christmas Day, while preparing dinner, Scottie sustained a puncture wound to the palm of his right hand from a broken piece of glass, requiring surgery.
His manager stated that small glass fragments remained in Scottie's palm, necessitating the surgery, but he should be back to 100 percent in three to four weeks.
Scheffler, who had a remarkable year with seven PGA Tour titles, hopes to return for The American Express tournament on January 16.
