Nearly 60% of college students report feeling lonely, and a large percentage say they're single and struggling to meet people. This project aims to address that.
Firefly is a community-built dating platform that stands for meaningful connections. We want to make a world where everyone can find a match that aligns with their true personality.
Students will be matched based on personality, dating styles, preferences, and interests. A compatibility percentage, or 'match score,' will be assigned to each pairing.
This project is designed to help SFSU students connect in a genuine way as they prepare for Valentine's Day and ease feelings of loneliness.
