Sam Hunt, a country singer, was arrested for speeding and violating a car breathalyzer device in Tennessee. Following his 2019 DUI arrest, he was required to use the device. After being detained, he was released on a $1,500 bond, and though he received a speeding ticket, he won't be charged for the latest incident as he cleared necessary paperwork. His past history of driving offenses raises concerns about his behavior and public image.
Hunt's 2019 arrest came after cops in Nashville, Tenn. stopped him for allegedly driving the wrong way down an East Nashville road, swerving in and out of his lane and crossing the center divider several times.
A representative for the singer confirmed his arrest in a statement given to TMZ on Wednesday, saying that Hunt cleared the necessary paperwork in court this week and will not be charged. He added that Hunt received a speeding ticket, which he plans to pay.
