Rockefeller Center kicks off holiday season early with selection of this year's Christmas tree | amNewYork
Briefly

The 2024 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will come from West Stockbridge, Massachusetts—the first time in over six decades that a tree from the Bay State will grace this iconic location.
Standing at an impressive 74 feet tall and weighing 11 tons, this tree has a rich history, being approximately 70 years old and generously donated by the Albert family.
The tree will be adorned with more than 50,000 energy-efficient LED lights and will be crowned with a Swarovski star, continuing the tradition of festive elegance.
After being the focal point of holiday celebrations, the tree will be repurposed, milled into lumber to support Habitat for Humanity, reflecting the spirit of giving.
