Jordan Hannah, a 26-year-old off-duty FDNY EMT, was arrested and indicted for a fatal robbery that occurred in April 2021. He faces 22 charges, including three counts of first-degree murder related to the shooting of Kyle Griffin, 22. During a robbery attempt, Hannah and an accomplice confronted Griffin at gunpoint. When Griffin attempted to escape, he was shot twice. Hannah was remanded into custody without bail after his arraignment in Queens Supreme Court, as prosecutors decried the brazen nature of the crime.
The defendant, now an FDNY EMT, thought he got away with murder for allegedly killing a young man he tried to rob four years ago.
According to the charges, on April 18, 2021, at approximately 10 p.m., Griffin was sitting in a white Range Rover...a Jeep Grand Cherokee pulled over next to the Range Rover.
