Roblox is implementing new safety policies to protect its young users, banning access to unrated experiences for those under 13 starting December 3.
From November 13, users over 13 will be required to access Social Hangouts and Free-form User Creation experiences, further enhancing platform safety.
The changes aim to ensure that any experience available to younger users has confirmed appropriate content, reducing risks associated with unrated games.
Roblox's past safety concerns highlight the importance of these new rules, as multiple arrests related to child abuse cases have occurred since 2018.
