In August 2025, a retired Canadian Airlines pilot, Tom Crosby, claimed that Donald Trump's plane flew to Jeffrey Epstein's island at least 37 times. His assertion gained traction on social media but lacked evidence. Investigations revealed doubts regarding Crosby's credentials, particularly about his pilot pin being inauthentic. No reputable sources confirmed his claim, raising questions about its validity. Efforts to contact Crosby and verify his employment with Canadian Airlines were initiated, while the Federal Aviation Administration was also approached for clarification on flight record retention policies.
Commenters on Crosby's post pointed out that the pin he wore in the attached photo did not look like one belonging to Canadian Airlines, a carrier that Air Canada acquired in 2001.
However, we found no evidence to prove Crosby's claim and further research shed doubt on his alleged credentials.
We reached out to Crosby to ask for evidence of his claim and former employment with Canadian Airlines.
The claim would have been widely reported if true.
