Stellantis has decided to delay the launch of the all-electric Ram 1500 REV truck to 2026, responding to an unexpected slowdown in demand for electric pickups.
The Ram Ramcharger, which utilizes both a battery and a gas generator to achieve an impressive 690 miles of range, will be the focus until the REV's launch.
The shift to prioritize the Ramcharger was largely driven by strong consumer interest, reflecting broader trends among automakers addressing lower than expected electric vehicle demand.
With specifications including zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and 663 horsepower, the Ram Ramcharger aims to blend performance with innovative engineering.
