Chase Herbstreit, son of ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, committed to Michigan, joining a strong recruiting class headed by five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood and 22 other prospects.
Herbstreit performed outstandingly at Cincinnati's St. Xavier High School, finishing his senior season with 26 touchdowns and leading his team to a regional final.
Herbstreit’s commitment keeps in line with his family's legacy in college football, as his brothers played at Clemson and his other brother is a walk-on at Ohio State.
Michigan's 2025 recruiting class is currently ranked sixth nationally, boosted by a strong mix of top prospects and solid commitments.
