Briefly

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Sheikh Mohammed addressed the importance of Palestinian self-governance in Gaza, emphasizing that decisions should be made by Palestinians, not outside influences. He expressed hope for the Palestinian Authority's return to governance post-conflict and acknowledged the severe humanitarian crisis due to Israel's military operations. The prime minister reflected on the prolonged negotiations with Israel and Hamas, expressing regret over the time lost that could have been used for resolving urgent issues facing Gaza's populace. He stressed the need for a stable governing body to address the people's needs and the extensive destruction in the region.
"Palestinians in Gaza, and not any other country, should dictate the way the enclave is governed," highlighted Sheikh Mohammed at the WEF meeting in Davos.
"We hope to see the PA back in Gaza, addressing the issues of the people there; there is still a long way to go with Gaza and its destruction," Sheikh Mohammed stated.
