Briefly

After a convincing 61-46 win against Head-Royce, Cornerstone Christian solidified its position at the top of the Bay Area Conference East Division. Key players included star point guard Benjamin Lukacs with 17 points and Kamel Johnson with 10 points, contributing to a strong team performance. Coach Michael Thomasson emphasized their effective rebounding and fast-paced playing style. Head-Royce's Micah Riebel made a notable return from injury, scoring 13 points. Despite Head-Royce's late push in the fourth quarter, Cornerstone maintained their momentum and sealed the victory, keeping their league unbeaten streak alive for two years.
"When we can rebound and get out and run, we're a hard team to beat," Cornerstone coach Michael Thomasson said. "We can spread the floor and we have shooters at every position. Our motto is to get stops and push the basketball, so teams can't set up against us."
"It's what we do every year, we haven't lost a league game in two years," Drayden said. "We're trying to keep that streak going."
