The Derby Arms in Epsom Downs will reopen on November 1, following an extensive renovation aimed at offering a stylish dining and drinking experience, complete with a revamped menu featuring seasonal dishes and handcrafted cocktails.
Head chef Harry Mardell has designed a range of shareable small plates for the new menu, including pan-fried wild scallops, chipotle sticky chicken, and unique seasonal specials that change daily.
The pub's new decor draws inspiration from horse racing and regional fashion, showcasing striped wallpaper, feature artwork celebrating horseracing, and a transformed bar area that enhances the social atmosphere while maintaining its charm.
The refurbished Derby Arms aims to be a premium social space for visitors, with a private dining area complemented by globe lighting and a floor-to-ceiling bookcase, enhancing the overall dining experience.
