Planet A Foods, a Munich-based food tech startup, has secured $30 million in Series B funding to expand production of its sustainable chocolate alternative, ChoViva.
With plans to increase production capacity from 2,000 tons to over 15,000 tons annually, Planet A Foods aims to address the sustainability issues of traditional cocoa chocolate.
The startup is eyeing expansion into new markets, including the U.K. and France, while already counting major brands like Lindt among its customers for ChoViva.
