A male pedestrian was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment."
"He died yesterday evening as a result of the collision. A post-mortem will now take place in due course, a Garda spokesperson said. The male driver of the bus, also aged in his 30s, was not injured, while two passengers received injuries described as non-life-threatening. The N7 motorway between junctions 8 and 7 remained closed overnight, and diversions were in place, while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators were carrying out a technical examination of the scene."

The N7 remained closed overnight with diversions while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examined the scene. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and for any dash-cam or other footage to be made available.
