Park City Ski Patrol Strike Leads to Long Lines, Limited Terrain - What to Know If You Have a Trip Planned
Briefly

The Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association officially went on strike on Dec. 27, demanding higher wages and better benefits. As a result, visitors have faced longer lift lines and limited openings.
Deirdra Walsh, COO of Park City Mountain, stated that the resort is committed to reaching an agreement with the patrol union, acknowledging that the situation has led to delays and dissatisfaction among guests.
Limited terrain and ongoing negotiations have exacerbated wait times, with skiers voicing their frustrations on social media, warning potential visitors to avoid Park City.
As of now, Park City has only opened 24 out of 41 lifts and just 80 of its 350 runs, indicating severe limitations on skiing options.
