John Drivas, owner of three restaurants, has been sentenced to serve one year and one day in prison for failing to pay federal employment taxes and state meals taxes.
Drivas was ordered to pay a total of $1,596,775 in restitution to Massachusetts Revenue, $439,341 to the IRS, and a $20,000 fine for tax violations.
