"The Dublin criminal, who now lives in Meath, is the chief suspect for torching the vehicles, or arranging the arson attack, at the car park. The man, is considered by gardaí to be a "serious criminal", who is involved in drug dealing and other organised crime. The busy car park is public and is widely used in the town. A source said that the main line of enquiry at the moment is that this criminal retaliated over an unrelated issue by indiscriminately targeting cars."

Any persons who were in the vicinity of Main Street between 10.00pm and 11.15pm on 2nd January and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
