One of the last Navajo Code Talkers from World War II dies at 107
Briefly

John Kinsel Sr., one of the last remaining Navajo Code Talkers and a World War II Marine, has passed at the age of 107, leaving behind a legacy of bravery.
Tribal President Buu Nygren stated, "Mr. Kinsel was a Marine who bravely and selflessly fought for all of us in the most terrifying circumstances with the greatest responsibility as a Navajo Code Talker."
With Kinsel's passing, only two Navajo Code Talkers remain alive. During WWII, hundreds of Navajos transmitted crucial military messages through their native language.
Kinsel's elite service as a Code Talker included significant battles in the Pacific, where he aided in sending thousands of critical messages without error.
