NYC Barnes & Noble union rallies in Union Square to bargain for first contract
Briefly

Barnes & Noble workers and labor groups rallied to demand the retailer reach a union contract for employees before the holiday shopping season begins.

The company offered the union a 25-cent raise during bargaining, while the starting pay at each location remains at $18 per hour.
