"We are eager to build on the achievements we've obtained until now, expand our talented team, and grow our product and market reach," Run:ai told Bloomberg in a statement. "Open sourcing the software will enable it to extend its availability to the entire AI ecosystem."
Nvidia's acquisition of Run:ai, initially announced in April with a price tag of $700 million, faced regulatory hurdles but ultimately received approval from the European Commission in December.
