Norway's Supreme Court declared the Norwegian branch of Satudarah a criminal association, emphasizing the group’s serious organized crime activities and the necessity of a ban.
'The court added that although Satudarah describes itself as a motorcycle club and is open to ethnic minorities, participants didn’t need to have a motorcycle or a license to join.'
The Supreme Court observed that the gang labels itself a '1% club,' indicating its operating principles are outside those of society’s laws and rules.
Norwegian police had previously attempted to ban Satudarah under a 2021 law, which allows for the prohibition of organizations involved in confirmed criminal activities.
