Briefly

"We are delighted to welcome Slingshot to the team to help us bring TraCSS to the entire world," Richard DalBello, Director of NOAA's Office of Space Commerce, stated. "Their visualization tools will make our technical data accessible via a modern interface reflecting the latest innovations in software and user experience design."
NOAA Administrator Rick Spinrad indicated that the agency expects to have the website - TraCSS.gov - "online and ready to sign up public users by late 2025." He emphasized that this contract award represents a major step forward in providing spaceflight safety services to global operators.
Kelli Furrer, Slingshot's chief revenue and marketing officer, described the Slingshot Beacon software as essential for communication among satellite operators, stating it "gives everyone awareness of what is up in the sky," similar to an air traffic control system for space.
Furrer highlighted the importance of the bidirectional communication capability in Slingshot Beacon, noting that it has become increasingly critical as satellite launches have surged, with operational satellites exceeding 10,000 and projections showing even larger numbers on the horizon.
