Neil was appointed as Millwall's head coach on a long-term contract, bringing extensive Championship experience and a positive outlook for the team's development.
"The opportunity was a great one for me. I think it's very similar to when I went in at Preston, going into a good environment. It's not as if there are huge problems."
Neil has managed 389 Championship matches with different clubs, showcasing a solid track record while winning promotion to the Premier League with Norwich City in 2015.
With Millwall currently 13th in the table after a poor run, Neil aims to develop a style of play and integrate younger players into the squad.
