During the Fleet Week Air Show, a Navy parachutist misjudged his landing, colliding with a mother and son at Marina Green, causing minor injuries. Emergency responders treated them.
The parachutist landed approximately 10 to 15 feet outside the designated landing zone, as confirmed by a spectator's video which captured the incident during the air show.
The Navy's spokesperson stated, 'Our thoughts are with the individual and their family. Safety is our number one priority. We cannot immediately assess what happened; however, we will review this incident to determine the cause.'
