A suspect is in custody following a fatal crash in Napa County, with alcohol suspected as a factor in the incident involving a Toyota Tacoma.
According to Marc Renspurger from the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the vehicle drifted off the road and struck a tree.
Stefan Beckmann, 23, was allegedly driving the Tacoma at the time of the accident and has since been booked into custody after treatment for minor injuries.
The crash resulted in the tragic death of a 23-year-old female passenger from Arcata, demonstrating the severe consequences of potential impaired driving.
