My husband and I paid for our kids' music lessons. They made enough money as street performers to fund their dream trips.
Briefly

We wanted to instill a love for travel in our kids while teaching them the value of hard work and responsibility. By earning their way, they gain appreciation for the journey.
The initial idea was simple: At the end of Australian primary school, each child could travel anywhere they wanted with one parent as a chaperone. However, they need to fund themselves, and plan the entire trip.
Busking became a fun and rewarding way for our children to save money for their travels. They enjoyed performing and discovered how much people appreciate street musicians.
Our kids learned not only how to earn money but also how to plan and execute their trips, fostering independence and confidence in their abilities.
