My Hope for Palestine

The conflict's complexity makes it appear unsolvable, but I've found hope as a Palestinian. A new mindset in leadership is essential for coexistence.
In the early '80s, Jerusalem's communities shared vibrant spaces. I witnessed Jews, Christians, and Muslims interact harmoniously before conflict overshadowed this unity.
The First Intifada in 1987 changed everything. It drove a wedge into my childhood innocence, forcing me to embrace the struggle and face the consequences.
Lasting peace requires radical changes in thinking and leadership from both sides. Unity and understanding are key to making a future with coexistence possible.
