Mohamed Salah has expressed uncertainty about his future with Liverpool, admitting he does not know if he will remain at the club next season. After scoring in the 2-1 win against Lille, he became Liverpool's first player to reach 50 goals in European competitions. While he hinted at wanting to stay and continue climbing the club's goalscoring charts, Salah also acknowledged the ongoing contract talks, which have not yet yielded an offer from the club. Reports suggest that Al Hilal may pursue him this summer if a new deal is not finalized soon.
"I'm not sure about that but I'll give it my best," he admitted.
"Hopefully not the last [milestone] but I'm very proud of it," Salah said of reaching 50 goals.
"They're a quite tough team. I'm glad we managed to win that game."
"Such an offer has not yet arrived, however, and Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal are now reportedly ready to push for Salah's signature this summer."
