UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini reported that displaced Palestinians in Gaza are facing critical shortages of fuel, medicine, and basic supplies, leading to desperate needs among those fleeing conflict. He highlighted that "people lost everything. They need everything including food, water, blankets and mattresses: The basic of the basic." Lazzarini emphasized that inadequate aid is leaving hospitals struggling, and access to clean water becomes limited as fuel shortages persist.

Fuel shortages also affect access to water." He expressed alarm over the limited aid deliveries, stating, "A dozen trucks of flour were allowed to cross into Gaza City this week, by far not enough." This lack of resources has worsened the humanitarian crisis affecting thousands.
