Michael Strahan confronted Governor Walz regarding Vice President Harris' campaign's contradiction over abolishing the Electoral College, questioning the clarity of their stance on voting rights.
Walz stated, 'Our campaign does that... that’s not their position. Their position and my position is... that everybody understands their vote, no matter what state they’re in, matters.'
In response to Strahan's query, Walz confirmed a disagreement with Harris on the Electoral College, emphasizing, 'I have spoken about it in the past, and she's been very clear on this and the campaign.'
Walz emphasized his support for the current Electoral College system, asserting, 'the campaign does not want to get rid of the Electoral College... he is honored to be traveling the country and battleground states.'
