Michael Olise explains the importance of Bayern Munich's public training sessions, recounts an experience with one as a kid
Briefly

"I think those sessions are important for both sides. We players experience the fans up close and the fans see how we train and get really close to us too" Olise said.
"It's amazing especially for the kids. When I was a kid I also admired footballers, especially at [Chelsea FC]. But I was always too nervous and excited to ask for an autograph or a selfie."
Such special moments, encounters and moments of connection are why these public training sessions are so important. They are a tradition that Bayern have belatedly rediscovered the value of and are now finally reigniting.
