Meta is enhancing user connectivity by allowing WhatsApp accounts to be linked with the Accounts Center, a feature that lets users manage their experiences across Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Quest. This integration simplifies sharing by allowing WhatsApp Status updates to be posted as Stories on other platforms. Although adding WhatsApp is optional and will not compromise end-to-end encryption, Meta plans to expand Accounts Center's features to include avatar management and AI sticker options. The roll-out will take months to reach all users, with settings adjustments made within the app.
