Marilyn Manson won't be charged after years-long sexual assault investigation
Briefly

Prosecutors announced that Marilyn Manson will not face charges after a years-long investigation into serious allegations of sexual assault and domestic abuse. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman stated that the allegations were outside the statute of limitations and lacked sufficient evidence for prosecution. The investigations stemmed from allegations made primarily between 2009 and 2011, with the investigation starting in 2021. Notably, actress Esmé Bianco, who was involved in the investigation, had previously settled a lawsuit against Manson concerning similar claims.
We have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside of the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt.
We recognize and applaud the courage and resilience of the women who came forward to make reports and share their experiences.
