Speaking about the injuries post-match, the Dutchman said: "We have to take them off at half-time. Tomorrow we have to see what is the diagnosis on it. Mazraoui had to be brought off... We know what the issue is but [I cannot say now] how good or bad it is."
Even with those absences, Ten Hag's side forced four saves out of Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez on Sunday. However, while the draw is a good result at a stadium as hostile as Villa Park usually is, United are 14th in the table after only two wins from seven matches.
Pressure has surrounded Ten Hag over the past week after a dismal 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur but he was defiant after the weekend's draw, insisting he remains aligned with the club's owners over his future and their ambitions.
