Honea emphasized the severity of injuries the two boys sustained in the shooting, noting that one had two gunshot wounds while the other had one in his abdomen, indicating a long recovery ahead.
The Butte County Sheriff revealed Litton's distorted motivations, believing the Seventh-day Adventist community was involved in global conflicts, specifically linking them to the oppression of Palestinians and Yemen.
Despite the tragedy, Honea confirmed that the students, approximately 35 in total, were safely reunited with their families after the incident, as the school community came together during the crisis.
