M25 reopens nine hours after serious' motorcycle crash near Dartford Crossing

The M25 has reopened after being closed for several hours due to a serious motorcycle crash. All traffic was stopped in both directions after a crash on the clockwise carriageway just after 2.30pm on October 30.
In an update just before 12am, National Highways confirmed on X that all lanes have reopened. Kent Police was called at 2.32pm to a serious collision involving a motorcycle on the clockwise carriageway.
Motorists are advised that the anticlockwise (Essex-bound) carriageway of the A282, near Dartford is now open to traffic. The clockwise carriageway remains closed with vehicles leaving at the first exit after crossing the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge.
Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service remain at the scene, and motorists should plan their journeys accordingly.
