Lucky escape as car flips on Wicklow roundabout

Wicklow fire crews attended a single vehicle collision at the Kilcroney roundabout off the N11 on August 18. The car came to rest on its side against trees. Both occupants escaped without injury. Initial reports of a fire were incorrect, attributed instead to steam and smoke from the brakes. The Kilcroney slip road from the N11 was temporarily closed to manage the situation and facilitate vehicle removal. GardaĆ­ were present to assist with the incident management.
Fire crews from Wicklow attended a single vehicle collision at a roundabout on the outskirts of Bray. The car came to rest in the centre of the roundabout.
There were no fatalities reported, and the claims that the vehicle had caught fire were unfounded.
Bray and Greystones fire crews were mobilised to an RTC at the Kilcroney roundabout off the N11 at 9:50 pm on Monday, August 18.
A single car was involved which came to rest on its side against trees in the centre of the roundabout. The two occupants managed to get out.
