Love Hurts review: Ke Huy Quan deserves better than this incoherent hitman rom-com
Briefly

In 'Love Hurts', Marvin Gable, portrayed by Ke Huy Quan, is a cheerful estate agent with a dark secret; he was once the best hitman around. His past catches up with him when Rose, a former love and now a dangerous colleague, sends him a Valentine's card. Despite his attempts to lead a normal life, he's forced to reconcile his old violent ways when confronted by his brother Knuckles, a crime boss. The film suffers from a lack of coherent storytelling despite the action-packed premise and Quan's remarkable performance.
Say hello to Marvin Gable, the happiest estate agent on earth, who must confront his violent past when a dangerous colleague resurfaces.
Marvin used to be a hitman but turned away from that life after his brother ordered him to kill Rose, his one true love.
