LG's new display stretches from 12 to 18 inches
Briefly

LG Display has unveiled the first-ever stretchable display, capable of expanding up to 50%, enhancing versatility for potential applications in clothing, car panels, and more.
By applying several new technologies, LG Display improved the properties of a special silicon material and developed a new wiring design structure that enhanced the panel’s flexibility.
The free-form screen technology includes full RGB color and boasts a resolution of 100ppi, using a micro-LED light source smaller than 40 micrometers.
Although currently just a prototype, the stretchable display can maintain high-quality images even when subjected to external shocks or extreme temperatures.
